About The Position

The QA Software Tester will value the software development process, prioritize user experience, and take pride in identifying inconsistencies, bugs, and errors to ensure a top-notch user experience, consistency, and usability.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and UX testing principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Ability to document and communicate test results effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with ADA compliance standards, or strong willingness to learn.
Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with design tools like Figma is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide feedback on product functionality and usability.
Help ensure the quality and functionality of software products across both web and mobile platforms by identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and issues.
Develop test plans, strategies, and test cases aligned with project requirements and timelines.
Work with the IT Project Manager to learn how to prioritize testing tasks based on project phases and release schedules.
Report and track defects, and document test results and issues as part of the learning process.
Review the developers' code to ensure it aligns with design specifications and UX/UI standards.
Verify that the final product meets ADA design standards and ensures consistency in layout, functionality, and user experience.
Collaborate with the development team to learn how to resolve discrepancies between design and implementation.
