About The Position

NOTE: This position is fully remote Job Description: Execute test cases (manual and automated) to validate new features, fixes, and product enhancements. Document, track, and thoroughly communicate defects/bugs discovered during testing, using our established issue tracking system. Assist in the creation and maintenance of clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases from functional requirements. Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand product specifications and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Provide timely and accurate feedback on test results and product quality. Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ Experience in QA Testing including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
  • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with manual testing of web, desktop, or mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, tools, methodologies, and the iterative lifecycle is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Cypress,).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database queries for data validation.
  • Experience with ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) or comparable imaging/geospatial systems is beneficial.
  • Strong foundational understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for finding defects and edge cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with at least one issue tracking software (e.g., Jira,).
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
