QA Software Development Engineer

Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Quality, or a related technical field required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willing to pursue a foundational software quality certification and working toward LOMA level 1 designation.
- 1+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, technical support, business systems, programming, or a related technology field preferred.
- Exposure to software development and testing tools and technologies, including: C# PowerShell Visual Studio SQL Selenium Git Playwright
- Experience supporting the development, testing, implementation, or maintenance of software applications preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document and communicate issues.
- Ability to learn and apply test automation concepts and tools.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL databases, APIs, Agile practices, and test management tools.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual, regression, API, and data validation tests for assigned work items and maintain accurate, comprehensive test documentation.
- Create and maintain test cases, test data, defect details, and basic supporting test documentation.
- Collaborate in person and virtually with team members to clarify requirements, confirm expected behavior, and communicate quality risks.
- Contribute to basic automation, scripting, SQL validation, and repeatable testing practices as assigned.
- Use approved AI tools responsibly to support test design, documentation, analysis, and summaries while validating outputs.
- Analyze requirements, designs, data, and defects to identify quality risks, gaps, dependencies, and testing priorities.
- Develop, maintain, and execute SQL queries, API tests, data validation processes, scripts, and automated test solutions, while continuously enhancing testing assets, frameworks, and overall test efficiency.
