About The Position

We are looking for a QA/QC Program Engineer V to lead and drive quality, commissioning, and project execution activities for large-scale mission-critical construction projects. This individual should be a strong onsite project owner who can make technical decisions, manage cross-functional stakeholders, drive issue resolution, and ensure quality requirements are met throughout construction, commissioning, and turnover.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of QA/QC experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Experience leading QA/QC and commissioning programs.
  • Demonstrated project management / project ownership experience, including making technical decisions and driving project execution onsite.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build construction programs.
  • Strong multidisciplinary experience across: Civil / Structural, Building Envelope, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C).
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Experience with mission-critical power and cooling infrastructure or other critical systems.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality, commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Level 2–5 testing and commissioning processes.
  • Experience reviewing or developing L4/L5 commissioning scripts.
  • Experience with ACC / Autodesk Construction Cloud for issue tracking and closure.
  • Experience participating in Factory Witness Testing (FWT).
  • Experience with OFCI and CFCI equipment and systems.
  • Experience developing QA/QC dashboards, metrics, equipment tracking matrices, and executive-level quality reporting.
  • Strong experience with NCR management, root cause analysis, CAPA, inspections, testing documentation, and turnover packages.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and make technical decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor QA/QC program metrics, dashboards, and equipment tracking matrices to evaluate project performance and identify trends.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions for quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Support the development and implementation of onsite QA/QC teams, processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Act as a key interface between design, construction, safety, facility operations, general contractors, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams.
  • Audit QA/QC activities performed by internal teams and subcontractors for compliance with established procedures.
  • Review mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing (MECP) submittals, design documentation, vendor quality manuals, and quality records.
  • Develop, review, and approve construction quality procedures, testing matrices, checklists, technical deliverables, test procedures, and test plans.
  • Review Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning scripts and provide technical feedback.
  • Review turnover documentation and Level 3, 4, and 5 energization, startup, and commissioning schedules.
  • Drive closure of construction and quality issues in ACC / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Attend and support Factory Witness Tests (FWTs) for OFCI and CFCI equipment and systems.
  • Conduct onsite quality inspections and observations of installed equipment and systems.
  • Verify completion and retention of Level 2 and Level 3 testing documentation.
  • Review equipment labeling, signage, and tagging.
  • Participate in construction, MEP/OAC, QA/QC, startup, and commissioning meetings.
  • Take ownership of assigned project scopes, drive projects forward, make technical decisions, manage risk, and resolve issues impacting quality, schedule, testing, and turnover.
