About The Position

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to help shape, strengthen, and continuously improve quality assurance and quality control programs across large-scale data center construction projects. In this role, you will serve as a key quality champion, partnering with design, construction, commissioning, operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure every system is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will have the opportunity to lead quality initiatives, influence project outcomes, mentor QA/QC personnel, and help establish best-in-class processes for mission-critical infrastructure.

  • 5+ years of experience leading or supporting QA/QC programs within data center or mission-critical construction environments.
  • Experience supporting both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build project delivery methods.
  • Working knowledge of: Civil/Structural systems, Building Envelope systems, Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C).
  • Experience managing QA/QC and commissioning programs.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of mission-critical power and cooling infrastructure.
  • Experience utilizing construction quality management tools and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ownership of: QA/QC inspections and audits, Construction quality program execution, Commissioning integration, Quality issue resolution, Continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree highly preferred.
  • Direct experience working on data center construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning processes.
  • Demonstrated success developing, implementing, and improving QA/QC programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and track quality program metrics to measure project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze trends, determine root causes of quality concerns, and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
  • Support the development and growth of on-site construction QA/QC teams.
  • Help establish and enhance QA/QC processes, standards, and communication strategies that improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a key liaison between design, construction, facility operations, and general contractors.
  • Coordinate and resolve quality-related matters across multiple project teams.
  • Deliver training programs that increase quality awareness and reinforce QA/QC procedures and responsibilities.
  • Conduct audits of QA/QC activities performed by project teams and subcontractors to verify compliance with established procedures.
  • Review project submittals, particularly MEP documentation, to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance.
  • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation, vendor quality manuals, and company quality records.
  • Review and approve quality documentation including: Construction Quality Procedures (CQPs), Inspection checklists, Test procedures, Technical deliverables, Product and process quality documents.
  • Review Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning scripts and provide technical feedback.
  • Assist construction management teams with turnover documentation reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Support review of Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 startup, energization, and commissioning schedules.
  • Help drive closure of quality issues and punch-list items within BIM360, escalating unresolved concerns as needed.
  • Participate in Factory Witness Tests (FWTs) for OFCI and CFCI systems and equipment.
  • Perform site quality inspections and observations for installed equipment and systems.
  • Document inspection results and findings within BIM360.
  • Confirm testing documentation is properly completed and maintained.
  • Review installed labeling, signage, and system tagging for compliance.
  • Assist in developing QA/QC dashboards, equipment tracking tools, and executive-level quality presentations.
  • Participate in critical project meetings, including: Weekly project meetings, Global QA/QC meetings, MEP/OAC meetings, Daily startup and commissioning meetings.
