The QA/QC Electrical Inspector's main responsibility is to inspect, accept or reject work performed in the electrical discipline in compliance with applicable Codes and specifications. This role actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values,” representing the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” The inspector will review project specifications and work procedures to ensure inspection, testing, and procedural alignment with Client’s requirements, and perform quality audits to verify work activities are in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan. Regular review and updates on the status of quality issues are expected, along with witnessing and holding point inspections of approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and systems in supplier shops and during pre-commissioning. The role involves reporting non-conformities, following up on corrective actions, and monitoring/surveillance of cables, cable tray routing, installation, and terminations. Additionally, the inspector will monitor and verify EPC contractor work in electrical and instrument equipment installation, hook-up, loop checking, and functional testing, ensuring documentation is progressively compiled with acceptable quality. Daily surveillance reporting and submission of weekly reports are required, as is providing technical advice in project technical meetings on quality/construction issues. Additional assignments may be requested by a supervisor.
