About The Position

As a QA Manager, you will lead all Quality Assurance activities for a large-scale healthcare technology implementation, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, business, and technical requirements. This role is responsible for managing the complete testing lifecycle, including test strategy, planning, execution, reporting, defect management, test data preparation, and End-to-End (E2E) validation across multiple integrated systems and vendor solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between business users, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership to ensure comprehensive test coverage, data integrity, successful user acceptance testing, and timely resolution of defects. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive testing experience, and the ability to coordinate complex testing efforts across multiple teams and systems.

Requirements

Extensive experience leading Quality Assurance, System Analysis, and testing efforts for large-scale enterprise implementations.
Strong expertise in managing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, and testing documentation.
Significant experience managing defect triage sessions involving multiple vendors, systems, and stakeholder groups.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality assurance methodologies, and testing best practices.
Experience validating data conversion, system integrations, and data integrity across complex enterprise environments.
Ability to analyze project requirements and system designs to develop effective testing approaches.
Strong experience communicating testing status, risks, metrics, and results to technical and business stakeholders.
Experience serving as a liaison between development teams, business users, vendors, and project leadership.
Mainframe experience is required.
Experience managing testing activities for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions and integrated enterprise applications.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with professionalism and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional testing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all Quality Assurance activities across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing initiatives.
Develop and maintain comprehensive testing strategies, plans, schedules, and execution approaches.
Coordinate testing efforts with business users, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure full test coverage.
Gather and validate user scenarios, business requirements, and test cases to support testing activities.
Oversee test data preparation, validation, and management across integrated systems.
Conduct test readiness reviews and ensure testing environments are properly prepared.
Facilitate defect triage meetings involving multiple vendors, systems, and support teams.
Track, manage, prioritize, and drive defects through resolution and closure.
Validate data integrity and successful integration across enterprise applications and platforms.
Develop test execution reports, test summary reports, and quality metrics for project stakeholders.
Support User Acceptance Testing by coordinating business participation and validating outcomes.
Serve as a liaison between business users and development teams to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
Perform post-testing assessments and verify successful remediation of identified defects.
Identify and escalate project risks, testing issues, and quality concerns to leadership.
Maintain testing documentation, historical testing records, traceability matrices, and quality standards.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment between testing activities and project objectives.
