About The Position

As a Term QA Maintenance Auditor at KF Aerospace Defence Programs, you will report to the Maintenance Manager for duties relating to the QA System in compliance with the Maintenance Control Manual and the Canadian Aviation Regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in analyzing, reporting, and auditing
  • Understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem solving
  • Seeing tasks to completion
  • Organization
  • Communication, written and verbal
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Enhanced Reliability Clearance
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license or applicable experience would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of aviation/military terminology an asset
  • Occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Carry out internal audits as required by the company Maintenance Control Manual and the Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM)
  • Conduct QA inspections using checklists and assist in training company personnel in the required inspections
  • Review/audit paperwork related to work performed on four fleets of aircraft.
  • Participate in assessing Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Information Letters and other relevant data
  • Support and assist affiliated company QA audit activities with developing procedures, checklists, and inspection reports
  • Identify, initiate, recommend or provide solutions to quality problems through designated channels
  • Ensure that the development, delivery, and effectiveness of all training programs relevant to the departments are met on a consistent and timely basis
  • Monitor the following: Contract AMOs for compliance with contract requirements, Maintenance personnel training records, Aircraft technical records, Aircraft maintenance schedules and tolerance issuance
  • Retain and safeguard audit documents, ensure confidentiality, and treat privileged information with discretion.
  • Liaise with the CFTS QA Manager and the KF Aerospace QA team as required
