About The Position

The Quality Assurance Lead position at the Manawa location provides support to hourly team members in Quality operations. This role acts as the first point of contact for issue resolution within the department, ensuring proper escalation when needed. Driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Manage daily workflow, schedules, and task assignments to support production needs. Providing coverage as necessary. Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards through audits and documentation. Train, coach, and support employees on FS&Q and safety procedures. Drive improvements using CI tools and track/report performance metrics and conduct audits. Promote safe work practices and assist with issue resolution. This is a full-time permanent role starting at $29.87/hour. Core hours are 1:45p-10p, Monday – Friday. Schedule may vary based on operations needs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Food Safety & Quality (FS&Q) or related experience
• Demonstrated experience in the following programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP, data entry)
• A positive, team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

• 6–12 months of employee training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred
