QA Lab Specialist AR
About The Position
The QA Lab Specialist provides guidance to QA lab technicians and acts as a backup for microbiology and chemistry laboratory technicians. This role supports the validation of analytical and microbiological test methods, plant project work, and manages incoming raw material receipt and testing. The specialist also supports and helps manage the environmental monitoring program, maintains and troubleshoots standard laboratory equipment, and oversees the calibration and verification process of laboratory equipment. This position requires proper documentation and communication of findings to senior management, creation and revision of procedures, and maintenance of the chemical hygiene plan. The specialist ensures laboratories are always tour-ready and trains personnel on laboratory functions. - Perform and document alert and action limit investigations
- Manage incoming raw material receipt and testing

- Maintain and Troubleshoot standard laboratory equipment
- Calibration and verification process of laboratory equipment
- Properly document and communicate findings and results to senior management utilizing Excel, Agile or Infiniti systems
- Create and revise procedures, work instructions, and forms as needed
- Maintain and monitor chemical hygiene plan
- Ensure that the laboratories are always tour ready
- Train personnel on laboratory functions
