About The Position

The QA Analyst / QA Automation Intern will support the quality assurance efforts for our Cross-Border platforms, contributing to both manual and automated testing activities within a complex system. The intern will be involved in the full testing lifecycle, gaining exposure to modern QA practices, tools, and collaboration models used in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in the area of Graphic Design or Multimedia
  • Student entering year 2 to 4 of a post-secondary program
  • Experience with graphic design software; Adobe Creative Cloud strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated academic portfolio showing creativity and software skills
  • Ability to multitask, always keeping customer needs at the forefront
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other Marketing team members to improve consistency, but be flexible enough to work well independently
  • Maintains technical knowledge by staying on top of trends
  • Ability to work effectively either as part of a project team or independently
  • Excellent project management, attention to detail, multi-tasking and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing business and technical requirements to understand feature functionality and system impact
  • Creating and maintaining test cases using TestRail
  • Executing regression and functional test suites, ensuring coverage across impacted areas
  • Performing API testing using Postman, including validation of request/response payloads and business logic
  • Developing and maintaining automated test cases using Playwright
  • Analyzing backend implementations by reviewing pull requests in Bitbucket to understand code changes and their impact on testing
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
  • QA team members (manual and automation) for guidance, test strategy alignment, and reviews
  • Developers to understand implementation details, troubleshoot issues, and validate fixes
  • Product Managers to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected user behavior
  • Supervised participation in meetings, stand-up meetings when possible, and 1:1 connections with direct supervisor
  • Setting expectations and goals throughout the duration of the internship
  • Honing skills and knowledge regarding strategic growth and how it applies to the function of our business
  • Giving quality feedback based off ideas and suggestions regarding internship projects
