About The Position

This role involves performing quality inspection functions at a senior level, including reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, CMM reports, and bench inspecting features to correlate CMM results. The inspector will also provide guidance to Level I Inspectors.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and good work ethic
• Minimum one-year work experience in aerospace machining environment, preferably as a machinist or inspector
• Demonstrated mathematical ability
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend technical documents
• Temper inspector must receive Rockwell and conductivity training and pass certification exam

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to review CMM Reports and interpret them with little assistance
• Demonstrated ability to bench inspect features to correlate CMM results on most part configurations

Responsibilities

• Performs all major activities identified in Level I
• Uses all tools and machines indicated in Level I
• Reviews and interprets technical customer, supplier and internal documentation for application in the inspection process
• Reviews CMM Reports and interprets them with little assistance
• Bench inspects features to correlate CMM reports on most part configurations
• Performs all quality inspection functions at a senior level
• Provides guidance to Level I Inspectors as required
