About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic data entry systems.
Solid math skills, including basic arithmetic and percentages.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as needed to support production schedules.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, or laboratory testing preferred
certification in quality control is an asset
Understanding of quality control principles, sampling methods, and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

Conducts pre-operational and operational inspections of sanitation and plant conditions; documents findings and reports any concerns to Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager.
Samples and evaluates finished products to verify quality, grading, and compliance with specifications.
Performs in-process checks, including analytical and organoleptic evaluations, to ensure consistent product quality.
Monitors and records packaging attributes such as fill weight, seal integrity, and product coding accuracy.
Ensures all quality and production data are accurately recorded and maintained.
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and housekeeping standards.
Follows all safety procedures and participates in promoting a culture of workplace safety.
Upholds and enforces company policies and procedures related to food safety, legality, and quality, including but not limited to GMPs, HACCP, food security, and product quality standards.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
