QA Furniture Mover Repair
About The Position
As a QA Furniture Mover & Repair, you will be responsible for the placement, removal, and setup of items in the villas. This includes receiving furniture, inspecting, counting, inventorying, and documenting it. You will also be involved in loading and unloading, staging, and wrapping furniture in storage. A portion of your role will involve minor inspections of the department vehicle, including checking oil, water, lights, and brakes. You will receive work orders and schedules from your supervisor and perform minor repairs and replacements of non-upholstery items. Additionally, you will complete guest requests and orders from various origins, assist other departments with furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and complete warranty walks on villa items. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
- Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
