QA Engineer

Turnkey Africa•Lagos, FL

About The Position

The Entry Level QA Engineer supports testing of Evolve, Caava Group’s insurance management platform, which is built on Spring Boot services with Angular and Next.js frontends and used by AIICO for insurance operations. The role covers manual, exploratory, and automated testing of assigned APIs and user workflows, working with experienced engineers to identify defects, verify fixes, and build reliable test coverage. The engineer translates requirements into test cases, validates REST APIs and documentation, tests frontend workflows across browsers and screen sizes, and contributes foundational API and UI automation with review. They document defects and evidence, verify fixes, run regression tests, escalate blockers, and summarize test coverage and open defects to support release decisions. The role reports to the QA Lead and works with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product. Progression to Associate QA Engineer depends on performance, consistent delivery, increased independence, test and evidence quality, and business need.
