Our software is used in demanding sectors such as Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas, Construction, and Food & Beverage. We are an engineering-focused company with headquarters in El Dorado Hills, CA, and a development and quality assurance center in Hyderabad, India. Our Professional Services team specializes in tailoring, configuring, and deploying these solutions to meet unique customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in software testing and quality assurance with a proven ability to operate independently.
  • Strong hands-on manual testing experience, including black-box and functional techniques.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance QA work and an aptitude for identifying new AI applications.
  • Proven experience in test planning and structured test case design.
  • Sound judgment in risk assessment, prioritization, and managing multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including structured reporting to stakeholders.
  • Comfort working within a globally distributed team, including some early-morning overlap with colleagues in India.
  • Basic SQL for database validation and backend testing.
  • Working understanding of programming concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. export-control requirements (including ITAR) for serving defense contractor customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing customer implementations, configured/customized software, or system integration projects.
  • Exposure to ERP, Warehouse, or Inventory Management systems.
  • API testing experience (REST, Postman, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools, automation frameworks, or data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with Jira for defect tracking and workflow management.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr or equivalent).
  • An innovative mindset toward adopting AI in everyday QA.

Responsibilities

  • Own test planning and execution for customer deployment projects, including designing test plans, cases, and scenarios aligned with customer requirements.
  • Validate customized solutions, including tailored builds, configurations, and ERP/system integrations, ensuring functionality in the customer's environment before go-live.
  • Adopt and champion AI-driven practices, tools, and automation strategies in QA, identifying opportunities to enhance coverage, speed, and quality.
  • Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, and backend/system-level testing on customer-configured solutions and integrations.
  • Identify, document, track, retest, and validate defect resolutions throughout active projects.
  • Monitor deployment coverage, progress, and risks, providing clear status updates on quality to project and customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering, Product, and Support teams to clarify requirements, improve usability, and lead root cause analysis.
  • Maintain QA documentation, test artifacts, and quality standards for team-wide adoption.
