About The Position

The Quality Engineer (Automation) will identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application. This role involves working closely with development, operations, support, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution. The engineer will work independently under minimal guidance, identify use cases/scenarios, create and prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports for stakeholders. Responsibilities include tracking software bugs, investigating their causes, preparing and troubleshooting automation scripts, creating test plans and summary reports, executing regression and exploratory testing, performing functional and end-to-end testing, maintaining the automation suite, and creating test data for automation. The role also involves submitting Pull Requests, understanding software internals, debugging problems, automating repetitive tasks, and analyzing automation reports (Extent and Cucumber). The engineer will also trigger the automation suite as necessary.
