About The Position

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong IT background and hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate has experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO), understands software testing best practices, and enjoys collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO).
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend applications such as Angular or React.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
  • Performance testing experience using tools such as JMeter.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using WebdriverIO (WDIO).
  • Perform manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Validate application functionality across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline where applicable.
  • Review requirements and provide early feedback to improve testability and product quality.
  • Monitor test execution, analyze results, and provide clear quality reports.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
  • Ensure software meets performance, usability, reliability, and quality standards.
