About The Position

This role involves testing and quality assurance for Amazon Connect, focusing on contact flows, IVR call flows, routing profiles, and queues. The QA Engineer will validate AWS Lambda functions integrated into Connect, perform various types of testing (functional, regression, integration), identify and track defects, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). The position also includes monitoring and validating system behavior post-deployment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant QA/testing experience.
• QA/testing background on AWS Connect or other call center platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda.
• Able to work Central time hours, even while remote.

• AWS certification(s).
• Call center domain experience.
• Healthcare payer background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Amazon Connect contact flows, IVR call flows, routing profiles, and queues.
• Validate AWS Lambda functions integrated into Connect contact flows (e.g., data lookups, dynamic routing logic, third-party API calls).
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across call center platform releases and configuration changes.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with the development team.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinating with business and contact center stakeholders to validate new or updated contact flows.
• Monitor and validate call handling, routing accuracy, and system behavior post-deployment.
