About The Position

The primary duties of this position are to inspect, test, clean and label Industrial Surplus items at point of sale. This role involves verifying part numbers, performing power and diagnostic testing, programming, and supporting quality methods and procedures. The technician will also be responsible for processing units to a 'Ready to Sell' condition, handling and labeling units, capturing repair costs, and managing time effectively. Proficiency in IT systems and a willingness to work on products outside of one's department to support customer backlog are also expected.

Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot to and solder components is required.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Strong Computer proficiency

  • PLC test abilities

Responsibilities

  • Verifying Part Numbers on All Units Processed
  • Inspection, Cleaning and Testing of all Units
  • Proper use of Shop Assets and Test Fixtures

  • Support and Improve Quality of Final Product

  • Performing Occasional Light Repair
  • Processing of Pre-evaluation Units to ‘RTS’ Ready to Sell condition
  • Proper Handling and Labeling on All Units
  • Capture Estimated Parts and Labor Cost for Repairs
  • Effective Time Management and Prioritization of Work
  • Proper use of IT systems
  • Provide your own Hand/Power tools
  • Willingness to work on products outside of your department to support customer backlog

Benefits

  • Eligible for commission after successful completion of introductory 90 days.
