About The Position

The QA/Food Safety Clerk position is a full-time role on the 1st Shift, operating from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility as needed. This role is part of the Food Safety and Quality Control department at JBS USA in Marshalltown. The primary responsibilities involve processing paperwork from the production floor, typing data from the NSIS program, organizing HACCP data, and becoming proficient in the Safety Chain Quality Control Program. The clerk will also prepare final reports from collected data, analyze and trend data accurately, and participate in internal/3rd party audits. Additionally, the role involves gathering information for USDA and Food Safety reports, organizing USDA reports, and performing other duties assigned by management. The position requires learning Food Safety Programs, creating and distributing reports to all departments, and mastering the Shop Floor and Safety Chain programs.
