About The Position

Innova Solutions is hiring an intermediate QA Automation professional for a contract-to-hire position in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves developing and supporting test automation, running end-to-end tests, and conducting performance-based testing. The team uses Playwright and JMeter; experience with Selenium is also relevant. Candidates should have coding skills in Java or Python and experience across QA automation and software engineering practices. The interview process is described as a two-hour Zoom interview with one round, including a coding session, followed by a decision.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience.
Coding proficiency in Java or Python.
Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
Working proficiency in QA automation development tools.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with at least one common Agile framework.
Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security.
Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines, with an understanding of overall software skills across the software lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

Performance/load testing experience.
AWS experience.

Responsibilities
