About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases for API (REST & SOAP) services, performing functional, integration, and regression testing. The lead will build and maintain automation frameworks using Rest Assured, utilize Postman for API validation, testing, and automation collection, and analyze logs and monitor application performance using Splunk and Dynatrace. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams is crucial to ensure quality delivery. The role also includes tracking and managing defects using JIRA, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Harness, Maven), maintaining version control using Git, and participating in code reviews and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in API Testing (REST & SOAP)
  • Hands-on experience with Postman
  • Proficiency in automation using Rest Assured framework
  • Good understanding of build tools like Maven
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Harness
  • Knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA
  • Comfortable working with IDEs such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, or Visual Studio
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
