About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Automation Quality Engineer with 7-12 years of experience to lead our QA automation efforts. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks, writing and executing automated test scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, managing test data, and providing technical leadership to the team. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java, Selenium for UI automation, and RestAssured for API automation.
• Experience with CI/CD integration for Java-based applications.
• Experience with test data management strategies, including synthetic test data generation.
• Proficiency with Git (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab) for collaborative code management.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray).
• Experience generating comprehensive quality metrics and reports.
• Strong technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance skills.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust, and efficient test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and security testing, covering React UIs, Java APIs, and Oracle backend services.
• Actively write, execute, and maintain complex automated test scripts primarily using Java, Selenium for UI automation and RestAssured for API automation.
• Drive the seamless integration of automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling rapid feedback loops and continuous quality validation for Java-based applications.
• Implement effective strategies for synthetic test data generation and management to support diverse and comprehensive testing scenarios across Oracle databases and React UI components.
• Establish and maintain robust reporting mechanisms for test execution results, defect trends, and quality metrics, providing actionable insights to project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of automation QA engineers, fostering their technical growth, problem-solving skills, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate extensively with Java developers, React UI developers, Oracle DBAs, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to understand requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure quality is built into every stage of development.
