About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Technical Lead Engineer with 8–10 years of overall experience in software testing and quality engineering. The candidate will play a key role in designing scalable automation solutions, driving quality initiatives, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The team currently faces several key challenges: - Optimizing and modernizing an existing Playwright automation framework that has scalability and maintenance challenges. - Migrating automation scripts from Micro Focus UFT to Playwright as part of a broader transformation initiative. - Expanding automation capabilities to support end-to-end SAP testing. - Embedding a true Quality Engineering (QE) mindset across the organization rather than treating quality as solely a QA responsibility. - Accelerating delivery by identifying and automating the highest-value business-critical paths faster. - This role is viewed as a strategic hire that will help shape automation standards, framework design, quality metrics, and team best practices moving forward.
