About The Position

This role is for a QA Automation Engineer to participate in the M&A portal/dashboard initiative for M&T Bank. The position is located in Wilmington, DE, requiring onsite presence 4 days a week with 1 day remote. The initial contract duration is 7 months, with a likely extension to 12-18 months. The pay rate is $65/hr on W2. The engineer will collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with C# and Page Object Model, and create, manage, and execute test cases while maintaining QA documentation. Zephyr and Jira will be utilized for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting. Responsibilities include developing and implementing test planning, strategy, and reporting for functional, regression, end-to-end, and API testing. The role also involves serving as the QA gatekeeper, providing sign-off for releases. Strong knowledge of QA processes and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is essential. The role requires adaptation to flexible scheduling, including supporting monthly evening releases (8 PM–11 PM ET), while maintaining a 40-hour work week. Two genuine professional references with LinkedIn profiles are required. Candidates on H1B/CPT/OPT are not eligible.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA processes and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with Selenium with C# and Page Object Model.
• Experience with Zephyr and Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Experience in developing and implementing test planning, strategy, and reporting for functional, regression, end-to-end, and API testing.
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including supporting monthly evening releases.
• Must provide two genuine professional references with LinkedIn profiles.
• No H1B/CPT/OPT candidates.

Nice To Haves

• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong overall enterprise QA experience preferred.
