About The Position
We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help modernize and scale test automation across web applications and services. This role focuses on building and improving automation frameworks across UI, API, and database layers, while partnering closely with development and infrastructure teams. You’ll play a key role in increasing automation coverage, improving system reliability, and supporting high-quality software delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA or test automation experience
- Strong hands-on experience with: Playwright (TypeScript preferred)
- Selenium (Java or Python)
- Experience with: API testing (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, etc.)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Automation frameworks (pytest, JUnit, TestNG)
- Experience testing across UI, backend, and databases
- Familiarity with Git and Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- Experience owning automation efforts end-to-end
- Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, NeoLoad, Artillery)
- Experience in financial or regulated environments (SOX, PCI)
- Exposure to modern or AI-driven testing tools
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and database testing
- Convert manual test cases into automated regression suites
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Partner with development teams on performance and load testing
- Build and maintain automation dashboards and reporting
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
- Ensure test environments are stable, scalable, and secure
- Document automation processes, results, and standards
- Support testing efforts in regulated environments (security/compliance)
