About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Fullstack QA Engineer to test Point-of-Sale (POS) systems from end-to-end. The ideal candidate will be proficient in debugging native mobile applications and the backend Java stack. This role involves creating automated UI and API tests to ensure efficiency and consistent quality, along with clear communication and detailed documentation of bugs, issues, and status.

Requirements

• Proficient in debugging native mobile applications (iOS & Android).
• Proficient in debugging backend Java stack.
• Ability to create automated UI tests.
• Ability to create automated API tests.
• Clear communicator and documenter.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with software best practices and able to uphold standards to ensure quality.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with POS systems.
• Experience with end-to-end testing across multiple systems from POS to backend services – verifying UI/UX, data persisted and in-transit.
• Knowledgeable and experience with testing SpringBoot Java microservices and databases in the Cloud – Microsoft Azure & Oracle Cloud.
• Experience and ability to create automated UI using Appium framework.
• Experience and ability to create automated API tests using Karate framework.
• Experience with development tools such as Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Android Studio, Xcode, IntelliJ or VSCode.
• Experience with debugging through logs or application performance monitoring (APM) tools – such as Google Cloud Logs and New Relic.

Responsibilities
