Requirements

Advanced SQL querying proficiency.
Extensive knowledge of quality assurance processes throughout the software lifecycle.
Proficiency with automated functionality testing tools.
Ability to test within large, highly integrated systems.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with IT staff, functional users, and management.
Ability to work cooperatively and maintain productive working relationships across the agency.
Attends all meetings, meets delivery deadlines and is available during client office hours.
Logs in and remains on agency Jabber during work hours.
Attends remote meetings with camera on unless prior arranged for camera off.
Coordinates leave and vacation with client lead.
Must dress appropriately for a business/business casual environment.
Communicates respectfully and works harmoniously with all co-workers, customers and vendors.
Provides exceptional customer service.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. Each year of related experience may substitute for one year (30 semester hours) of required college credit.
7 Years Progressively responsible experience in quality assurance practices across the full software lifecycle.
5 Years Experience testing PeopleSoft Pension, Benefits Administration, and Financials.
4 Years Experience testing SharePoint/K2.
4 Years Experience testing .NET applications.
4 Years Experience performing functionality testing using HP QTP/UFT, Selenium, or Playwright automation tools.
3 Years Experience creating SQL queries.
Proficiency in VBScript.
Familiarity with current Information Security and Artificial Intelligence concepts.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs highly advanced testing and analysis of client's production systems and applications.
Responsible for developing, validating, executing, and documenting test plans and test scripts, including unit, comparison, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborates closely with Business Analysts, Production Control and Operations, and Development teams throughout test design and execution.
Works under the general supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager of Information Systems with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Develops detailed test plans for complex applications.
Reviews user requirements, resolves discrepancies, and clarifies business processes.
Writes and edits comprehensive test cases based on user requirements and functional specifications.
Uses automated testing tools to conduct functionality, regression, and system testing, ensuring expected product behavior.
Mentors team members in the use of automated testing tools.
Assists in planning, conducting, and coordinating all phases of testing.
Supports functional users in User Acceptance Testing and validates test results.
Documents expected and actual test outcomes and logs defects using automated tracking tools.
Identifies issues uncovered through testing and works with stakeholders to coordinate resolutions.
Tracks and reports test status, results, and metrics.
Supports coordination and verification of sign-off at various testing levels.
Attends work regularly in alignment with agency attendance policies.
Complies with all applicable agency policies, procedures, safety requirements, and standards of conduct.
Performs on-call or scheduled after-hours work as required.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
