Requirements

  • Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run database testing functions automatically (8 years)
  • Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios (8 years)
  • Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments (8 years)
  • Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing (8 years)
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies (8 years)
  • Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly (8 years)
  • Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions (8 years)
  • Acquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area (8 years)
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills (8 years)
  • Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle (8 years)
  • Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills (8 years)
  • Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities (8 years)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates (2 years)
  • Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies (2 years)
  • Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components (2 years)

Responsibilities

  • Design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
  • Determine the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
  • Design documentation for automated processes.
  • Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications.
  • Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases.
  • Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
  • Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
  • Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and objectives.
