About The Position

Synergies Companies is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Quality Assurance Auditor to join their team in Detroit. This role is crucial for maintaining safety, compliance, and excellence on the production floor. The QA Auditor will work closely with Production and Quality Management teams, ensuring products meet specifications and standards. The position offers a steady Monday to Friday schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of applicable GMP experience in a QA role (or equivalent experience in a related field).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (proficiency test required).
• A sharp eye for quality and a knack for solving problems.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to build trusting, respectful, and collaborative relationships across teams.
• Comfortable standing or walking for long periods on the floor.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications, review "First Articles," and compare all products against the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure everything matches perfectly.
• Perform Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) conformance checks, as well as AQL inspections on the production lines.
• Place production operations in "Block Status" when needed and recommend smart ways to fix issues.
• Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, conduct electronic label vision challenges, and document findings in quality reports.
• Guide production line leaders on observed issues, and instantly quarantine any non-conformance materials while keeping management in the loop.
