About The Position

We are seeking a QA Analyst with a strong background in Telecommunications, specifically with experience in Data/Voice Products. The ideal candidate will have experience with Telecom Order Management/Orchestration products such as Ericsson UWS (Unified Work System) or similar systems. This role involves performing various order management tasks, working with order dashboards, and understanding the telecom order lifecycle, including provisioning and service activation. A working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud (Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, product customization) is also required. The candidate must be able to collaborate with different teams, troubleshoot issues for offshore testing teams, and have experience with testing tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN, and HP ALM for test execution and defect management. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.

Requirements

  • Background in Telecommunications
  • Experience with Data/Voice Products
  • Experience in Telecom Order Management/Orchestration products like Ericsson UWS (Unified Work System) or similar systems
  • Working Knowledge of Telecom Order Life cycle including Provisioning and Service Activation
  • Working Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud – Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, product customization
  • Ability to interact with various other teams like business, Development
  • Ability to troubleshoot various issues for offshore team to remove obstacles for test execution
  • Working Experience in SOAP UI, POSTMAN tool to execute and test WSDL services
  • Ability to read requirements and build test cases or test plans
  • Ability to execute tests using HP ALM
  • Ability to record and triage defects using HP ALM
  • Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Billing system like ICOMS or other similar billing systems
  • Working knowledge of Oracle’s Configure Price Quote tool or similar system

Responsibilities

  • Performing Modify, Add, Change, Disconnect on Orders
  • Performing Hold, Jeopardy on Orders
  • Working on Telecom Order Dashboards
  • Understanding the Telecom Order Life cycle including Provisioning and Service Activation
  • Working Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud – Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, product customization
  • Ability to interact with various other teams like business, Development
  • Troubleshoot various issues for offshore team to remove obstacles for test execution
  • Executing and testing WSDL services using SOAP UI, POSTMAN tools
  • Reading requirements and building test cases or test plans
