The QA Analyst I supports the quality and reliability of enterprise applications through software testing, issue analysis, and application support. This role executes test plans, validates system functionality, documents results, and collaborates with technical and business teams to ensure applications meet business requirements and deliver a positive user experience. The QA Analyst I also assists in resolving application issues and supports system enhancements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, application testing, technical support, or a related technology role.
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing principles, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and business requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate application functionality and system enhancements.
  • Document testing results, identify defects, and communicate findings to support timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business users, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, validate changes, and improve application quality.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving Tier 2 application support issues.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, patches, and production releases through testing and validation activities.
  • Maintain testing documentation and contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes and standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
