About The Position

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide. This role will coordinate quality control activities to ensure compliance with standards and specifications, while facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. The shift for this position is the 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection roles, or an equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
  • Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Knowledge of computer programs for entering data, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection roles.
  • Ability to guide team members towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Time-management skills.

  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and upkeep of the organizations quality systems.
  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization and product enhancement in support of maintain continuous process improvement.
  • Conduct qualification tests and utilize statistical techniques to create charts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and transfer knowledge to others, utilizing various training methods and techniques to ensure understanding and proficiency.
  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve quality issues and enhance overall product quality.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
