About The Position

The NASA Aerospace Capabilities Portfolio Office (ACPO) consolidates aerospace capabilities across multiple NASA Centers and has ongoing software and data development work that supports its applications and its broader data community. Python is the primary development language for this work, and day-to-day development is done predominantly in Python. This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, excluding the following states: AR, CT, DE, HI, IA, KS, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and operate software and data applications supporting ACPO.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows that prepare, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Implement applied analytics and machine learning features that support ACPO analysis and decision making.
  • Build interactive dashboards and tools that make data usable for engineers, analysts, and program staff.
  • Support data quality, testing, documentation, and day-to-day operations of delivered software.
  • Collaborate with other developers, data staff, and program staff to deliver working software.
