About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer with strong expertise in REST API development and Generative AI (GenAI) to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and production-ready applications, leveraging modern AI frameworks and cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Hugging Face
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI orchestration patterns
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure OpenAI or enterprise GenAI deployments
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Azure AI Search)
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Understanding of MLOps and AI governance
• Experience working with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like React or Angular

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python
• Build and consume high-performance, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs
• Develop and integrate Generative AI solutions using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Implement advanced techniques such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and model fine-tuning
• Integrate AI models with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party services
• Optimize API performance, reliability, and data processing efficiency
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Collaborate effectively with frontend, DevOps, data, and business teams
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems and applications
