About The Position
CTG is seeking a Python DevOps Engineer for a remote contract opportunity. This role will support EDA initiatives by developing Python-based solutions, building APIs, and supporting cloud-native applications within AWS environments.
Requirements
- Strong Python development experience.
- Experience with FastAPI and REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, AWS EKS, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and application deployment.
- Familiarity with analytics and statistical tools including SPSS, SAS, and R.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in Python development, DevOps engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and cloud environments.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python applications and automation solutions.
- Build and support APIs using FastAPI.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Support containerized applications using Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
- Work with PostgreSQL and Snowflake environments to support data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Assist with DevOps automation, deployment processes, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Support analytics and statistical computing environments utilizing SPSS, SAS, and R.
