About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to integrate APIs with internal portfolio management systems using Python. This role involves enabling seamless data flow for investment reporting and analytics. You will integrate API endpoints to synchronize investment management data using Django/FastAPI/Zope REST Framework for real-time financial data exchange. Additionally, you will develop robust ETL APIs to automate data mining and transfer between different database sources and the Allvue platform. The role also includes building Python-based document extraction pipelines to parse investor statements, capital calls, and other documents (PDF/excel), converting unstructured data into validated JSON. You will create Python scripts to parse and load data from APIs in XML/JSON formats, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms. Designing and implementing dedicated MySQL databases using complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis is also a key responsibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and troubleshoot integration issues is essential for improving data accuracy and team efficiency.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python development.
Experience with API integration.
Experience with Django/FastAPI/Zope REST Framework.
Experience developing ETL APIs.
Experience with document parsing (PDF/excel).
Experience converting unstructured data to JSON.
Experience creating Python scripts to parse and load data from APIs in XML/JSON formats.
