About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Python Developer. This is a contract position with a duration of 18 months, located in Jersey City, New Jersey, requiring 3 days onsite. As a Python Developer - Dynamic Pricing Engine | ANSI SQL, you will be seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong ANSI SQL, FIX protocol, Kafka/messaging, REST APIs, and distributed systems experience to support the transformation of a next-generation Dynamic Pricing Engine within a leading financial services environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and implement scalable Python-based solutions supporting the Dynamic Pricing Engine platform.
Collaborate with business users, traders, and technology teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Build and support RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven applications.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Apply software engineering best practices including TDD/BDD, CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing.
Work with financial market data and messaging technologies to support pricing and trading workflows.
Provide production and business-facing support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring platform stability.
Drive improvements in scalability, maintainability, performance, and system architecture.
Contribute to the implementation of next-generation pricing technology initiatives.
