About The Position

As a Python Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services for a high-load platform focused on sports betting and financial transactions. You will work on scalable APIs, asynchronous task processing, payment integrations, and real-time system functionality while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, performance, and smooth user experience.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
Experience working with web applications and RESTful APIs.
Commercial experience with Python (2.7) and Django (1.6).
Hands-on experience with MySQL (v.8), Redis, and backend performance optimization.
Experience working with Celery for asynchronous tasks and scheduled job processing.
Solid understanding of REST API design and development using Django REST Framework.
Practical knowledge of Backbone.js, including models, views, collections, and routing.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in English-speaking environments (minimum B2+ level).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Socket.IO and real-time updates functionality.
Understanding of sports betting platforms and financial transaction systems.
Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party services.
