About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team in the Financial Services industry. This role is based in New York City, NY, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite. The position is a contract role. Candidates must be local to the NYC area or willing to relocate and available for face-to-face interviews.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Proven experience in developing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing Python applications with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong database design, development, and SQL querying skills.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working within the Financial Services industry.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade applications in regulated environments.
