About The Position

Peregrine Advisors is a data and technology innovation hub and a Benefit Corporation working at the center of the federal government's mission. We are looking for highly motivated contributors who thrive when trusted to own a hard problem and equipped to deliver the solution. Your first assignment will involve taking user stories from refinement to production by building serverless, event-driven application workflows on AWS with Lambda and Step Functions, connecting COTS products, building API connections, or creating data and document pipelines. Adaptability and a demonstrated capacity to learn are essential as projects complete and priorities shift. The work is real, hard, and it matters. We hire people, not seats, and move our best to where the hardest problems are.

  • Adapt across roles and clients
  • Care about creating public value
  • Experiment, fail, learn, and repeat quickly

  • Practical command of modern cloud development, with the range to build something new or make an existing system work better
  • Matching delivery habits, including version control, unit and integration testing, code review, secure coding, and accessibility
  • Plain-language communication about your work with the people who depend on it, explaining clearly and listening for what they need
