About The Position

Finance of America Holdings LLC is seeking a Python Developer II in Plano, TX. This role involves participating in the optimization and continuous improvement of the software development process. The developer will contribute to an analytics program by developing new and enhancing existing applications, and will participate in evaluating and improving existing systems and their documentation. The position also includes experimenting with and implementing new technologies and techniques in the cloud. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining software in Python, writing re-usable, testable, and efficient code, and resolving problems with software functionality while suggesting improvements. The role also requires working closely with junior team members and providing feedback on their work. Telecommuting is permitted.

• Object Oriented Programming in Python and JavaScript
• Scalable data application design
• Containerization including Docker and Kubernetes
• Integration with CICD pipelines
• Testing frameworks including PyTest
• Data libraries including Pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn
• AWS Cloud Compute including ECS and Lambda
• Databases including PostgreSQL and MSSQL

• Microservice architecture
