About The Position
Accenture Flex is offering a local, fixed-duration, project-based role supporting client business transformation. The Data Modeler will work with business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model current and new data. The role requires subject-matter expertise, collaboration across teams, ownership of team decisions, and contributions to key decisions and solutions. The position requires 80% onsite client work in Pennington, New Jersey, or Jersey City, New Jersey, and client-mandated time away five days per quarter. Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, with significantly reduced or eliminated travel demands. Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT work experience.
- Software engineering experience with data modeling, data virtualization, and data analytics.
- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Advanced proficiency in data virtualization.
- Associate degree.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
- Advanced proficiency in data modeling, Oracle SQL Developer, and data analytics.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with the QUARTZ Framework.
- Banking and finance domain knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model current and new data.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and collaborate with and manage the team to support effective performance.
- Take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems within the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and refine data models that align with business requirements and technical standards.
- Share expertise and guide less experienced colleagues on data modeling best practices.
- Analyze complex data structures and propose improvements to data quality and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data management processes and tools.
