About The Position
Hiring a Python Data Engineer for an onsite role in Plano, Texas. The position focuses on data engineering using Python, PySpark, and big data technologies, with practical use of AWS services and working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and related data platforms and tools. W2 only. U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or GC EAD holders are preferred, and local candidates are highly preferred. C2C, 1099, and third-party profiles are not accepted.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and big data technologies for data engineering.
- Practical experience with AWS, specifically S3, EMR, and Lambda.
- Working knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Working knowledge of Java, REST APIs, MQ messaging, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Working knowledge of Airflow, Control-M, and native schedulers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Databricks workspaces, notebooks, and jobs.
- Familiarity with machine learning models, including training and inference workflows and model lifecycle.
