About The Position

Accenture Song is seeking a PXM Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end technical architecture for complex PIM, PXM, and commerce-related SaaS implementations. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and extensible solution architectures, designing data models, integration patterns, and system landscapes. The architect will lead technical integration strategies, provide hands-on leadership to delivery teams, and act as the technical authority. Responsibilities also include defining governance, security, and quality standards, supporting pre-sales efforts, and advising clients on the PIM and commerce vendor ecosystem. The role also involves driving AEO and GEO strategies and leveraging GenAI for product content automation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with PIM Platform architecture & integration design
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Data modeling
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with API Strategy & integration engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Workflow & governance configuration
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with SQL, Python, ETL/iPaas tools (Mulesoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Performance & scalability planning
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with integration architecture: REST APIs (JSON, OAuth2, pagination, rate limits)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Webhook/event-driven integrations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Batch & bulk APIs (NDJSON, CSV, XML → JSON transformations)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Error handling & retries for large-scale catalog syncs
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the areas of project/program management, IT resource management and/or IT operations management
  • Minimum of 4 years experience implementing large, complex PIM solutions across Enterprise stacks (ie. Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, InRiver, Informatica P360, Stibo STEP, 1WorldSync)
  • Solid understanding of AEO and GEO strategies and how to adapt product data for UCP / ACP / MCP protocols
  • Experience with Data Engineering and Transformation: Data mapping & transformation (XML ↔ JSON ↔ CSV)
  • Experience with Data Engineering and Transformation: Data quality rules & validation
  • Experience with Data Engineering and Transformation: Profiling upstream source data
  • Experience with Data Engineering and Transformation: Bulk migration strategies (100k+ SKUs)
  • Experience with Data Engineering and Transformation: Handling multi-language & multi-region data sets

  • Experience in pre-sales strategy, business development, and/or proposal creation

  • Knowledge of GDSN concepts, Digital Shelf Analytics, Enhanced Content, Retailer schemas & validation rules
  • Experience with GenAI or Agentic AI integration within PIM platforms
  • Previous Hands-On experience with AEO, GEO implementation

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end technical architecture for complex PIM, PXM, and commerce-related SaaS implementations, from initial discovery through design, build, and deployment
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and extensible solution architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and platform best practices
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical architectures, including data models, integration patterns, workflows, and system landscapes across PIM, DAM, ERP, commerce, and syndication platforms
  • Lead the technical integration strategy, defining how SaaS platforms connect with upstream and downstream systems using APIs, services, and event‑driven patterns
  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership to delivery teams, guiding configuration, custom development, and integration while ensuring solution quality and performance
  • Act as the technical authority and escalation point, identifying risks, resolving complex issues, and ensuring architectural decisions support long‑term scalability and maintainability
  • Collaborate closely with functional leads, project managers, and client stakeholders to align technical design with business outcomes and delivery timelines
  • Define and enforce governance, security, and quality standards across environments, including data integrity, access controls, and auditability
  • Support pre‑sales and business development efforts by contributing to solution visions, architecture assessments, estimates, and RFP responses as a subject‑matter expert
  • Maintain a strong point of view on the PIM and commerce vendor ecosystem, advising clients on platform selection, trade‑offs, and future‑state roadmaps
  • Drive AEO and GEO strategies for clients using PIM data for LLM syndication
  • Stay up to date on industry trends related to Agentic Commerce and leverage of GenAI and Agentic solutions to automate the product content supply chain
