About The Position

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced PWB/PWA/Flex Design Engineer to join our team developing and improving product designs to support advanced emerging programs. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design team developing electronic systems for Space Applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in PWB/PWA/Flex layout
• Experience in the layout of High density printed circuit boards with Cadence/Allegro products
• Controlled track impedance, RF PWB, and guard track layout experience
• Allegro PWB designer experience
• Create and maintain component libraries
• Experienced in footprint generation.
• Eligibility for security clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

• Active security clearance is preferred

Responsibilities

• Developing new PWB/PWA/Flex designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware.
• Specifying the appropriate PWB/PWA/Flex construction based on requirements and environments.
• Knowledgeable in IPC standards, supplier PWB/PWA/Flex fabrication techniques and controlled impedance path layouts.
