About The Position
This position is responsible for the maintenance of various County right-of-ways in Eddy County. The role involves activities such as mowing vegetation, removing debris, operating hand tools and light machinery, and performing machinery maintenance. All tasks are carried out in a natural environment with minimal direct supervision. The employee reports to the Road Foreman, but may also receive direction from the Road Manager Carlsbad, Road Manager Artesia, and the Sandpoint Manager, who hold equal authority. The role may require working irregular hours, attending job-related meetings, and participating in training, in addition to performing other assigned duties.
