About The Position

This position reports to the Community Services Director and is responsible for the coordination and progress of the cooperative geographic information system, rural addressing, floodplain management, subdivision regulations and planning. The employee will assign addresses in Eddy County to meet National Emergency Numbers Association (NENA), US Postal Service, and 911 database requirements. This position must perform all duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and progress the cooperative geographic information system, rural addressing, floodplain management, subdivision regulations and planning
• Assign addresses in Eddy County to meet National Emergency Numbers Association (NENA), US Postal Service, and 911 database requirements
• Assign new addresses as requested by property owners
• Work irregular hours
• Attend job related meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
