About The Position

This position is based out of the Funston Solar site in the Anson, TX area and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. The role involves maintaining all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition, performing inspections of fluid systems, mechanical components, and electrical components, and providing electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting for solar arrays and inverters. The candidate will also support teammates in nearby states and maintain reliability, operations, and maintenance for assigned sites. The Site Technician supports the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of PGD processes, performing duties in safety, contractor management, equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, site operations, asset management, regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management.

Requirements

• High School Grad / GED
• 1+ years of experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
